Our Story
Roofing runs in the Barr family. Charles Barr Sr. has worked in construction and roofing since the 1970s. He moved from Florida to Arizona in the 1980s, built a commercial and residential construction business here, and in 2012 that work became CDL Roofing.
Today the company is in its second generation. Charles Barr Jr. serves as President, with Charles Sr. still involved in the business. Charles Jr. has been in the trade since the 1980s and has worked every part of a roof himself, from the nail gun to the final inspection. A HAAG certified inspector, he still inspects every job personally. Father and son, with a combined lifetime in commercial and residential roofing, hold every job to the same standard: do it right, because your name is on it.
CDL Roofing is family-owned and family-run from Scottsdale. The company has put roofs on hotels, banks, retail, office, and industrial buildings across the state, and on thousands of Arizona homes.
The way we work is simple. Charles Jr. provides daily oversight on jobs, our crews clean the site before they leave, and quality gets inspected during the work, not after it. That is the difference between a company that sells roofs and a family that stands behind them.
